Southwest Network
The SW and Wales Regional Parent Partnership Network is the local forum for representatives or Parent Partnership Services. This group meets regularly to share information and to promote the development of parent partnership in the South West. In particular, the SWRPPN has worked on:
- Benchmarking Parent Partnership Services
- Developing regional standards
- Producing a wide range of information for parents
- Organising regional conferences
In May 2006 the SWRPPN agreed a position statement on Children's Services and the development of Parent Partnership Services. You can read it here.
As a parent, you can help the Regional Network by reviewing some Parent Partnership publications. This will ensure that information for parents is useful and easy to read. If you are willing to read one or two leaflets and let us have some feedback click here.
The dates of the SW and Wales Regional Network meetings in 2006-2007 are:
- 11th October 2007 - 10.00 to 3.30 at Bishop's Hull
- 31st January 2008 - 10.00 to 3.30 at Bishop's Hull
- 15th May 2008 - 10.00 to 3.30 at Bishop's Hull
